5 Fall Fashion Must-Haves

Well ladies New York Fashion Week has come and gone.  We know what lies ahead for Spring 2013!  What about what to wear right now?  We have got you covered with our  5 Fall Fashion Must-Haves!!!

1. The Ankle BootAnkle boots walk that fine hybrid line between high-heel femininity and sturdy work boots. We are loving ankle boots because they blend a bit of edge and femininity, and are equal opportunity outfit additions!  Tuck in a skinny jean or pair with a colorful tight and skirt! Check out our great selection of Kathryn Kerrigan boots, booties and ankle boots.
2. The Wrap-Up by Sarah Potempa
Sarah Potempa, hair stylist to the stars, lets us achieve the perfect bun in less than five minutes.  Perfect for any girl on the go!
3. Sparkley Shoes!
Whether it is a pump, loafer or ankle boot, sparkles are in! This Fall you can wear them to work, play or formal events.  Take advantage of this fashion opportunity and bling yourself!
4. Owl Jewelry
The trend that started a few years back is now in full force for Fall. Adopt it in a way that suits your style - earrings, necklace or printed shirts.
5. The Not-So-Classic Loafer
WE LOVE THIS TREND!  We always love the menswear look for women, especially in footwear.  This fall you can find jazzed up loafers in glitter, sparkles and animal prints. Check out the Kathryn Kerrigan Lola Loafer, available in black and leopard.

New York Fashion Week kicks off today and retail establishments throughout the country are participating in Fashion's Night Out. Football is Officially a Game for the Gals!!!

Whether you are a woman on the field or cheering from the stands, football has become a game for the gals!  The story of Erin DiMeglio, a high school senior at South Plantation High School in Davie, Florida, is my inspiration for the week. DiMeglio took two snaps Friday night and became the first woman to play quarterback in a Florida regular-season game.  There is a fearlessness in Erin and it is awesome to see her throw down like her male peers.

For those that know me, you understand my obsession with women that have long hair.  That is not the only reason I love Erin.   Check it out:

- She does her thing
- She commands the huddle (of 10 teenage men)
- She doesn't ask for special treatment
- She throws a spiral like no other

Conclusion:  The gals at KK, Inc. LOVE Erin!  Help us cheer her on to a WINNING season!

If you are more of a fearless fashionista, as opposed to football player, check out Nike's new line for women -  gal-friendly jerseys, hoodies and t-shirts.

Watch the 2012 season kick off in rivalry fashion with the Cowboys visiting the defending champion Giants!!!
