The Story
Kathryn Kerrigan remembers visiting six regional malls in the Chicago – area to find prom shoes for her six-foot-tall frame and size 11 feet. Kathryn’s high school and college basketball teammates faced the same footwear frustrations. With a newly minted MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, Kathryn wrote a business plan to fill the niche for women’s shoes in sizes above 11. Kathryn worked with craftsmen in Northern Italy and Spain to produce her designs. Inspired by her Grandmother’s couture wardrobe, Kathryn’s designs have a vintage flair.
