Campaign for Fashion

Campaign Fashion
First ladies are often considered to be style icons. While Coco Chanel will always be credited with revolutionizing fashion and liberating women from confining corsets, one of the women below will be scrutinized at every press conference and public appearance for the next four years. We live in a democratic society and as a trained MBA shoe designer, I must perform a fashion comparative analysis before reaching a decision...
Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain are modern, confident and committed to bringing fashion to the White House. No mother-of-the bride dresses or matronly suits here. We are not talking about sexy, skin type dresses either and we're also not talking about the buttoned-up suits donned by our gal Hillary. We're talking about elegant women with great style.

Pearls & Power Color: Analysis aside, they're not that different.

If I had to pick one woman to don Kathryn Kerrigans on the campaign trail, it would definitely be Michelle Obama. Sorry Chairman of the Board, Mrs. McCain, Michelle has the height of a Kathryn Kerrigan Gal. As for which style icon should be brought into the White House, I am still undecided.

Checklist: Lincoln Park, Chicago
As its name suggests, the area is bounded by beautiful Lincoln Park. This mature neighborhood boasts lovely brownstones and you'll find respected private and public schools, trendy restaurants and of course, shops. Not just shops, but fashion-forward, independent boutiques such as French clothiers, Betsey Johnson and Kiehl's. Just north of downtown, the North Avenue / Clybourn corridor is host to my favorite gem of all... 9 and Up! Here you can find new, Kathryn Kerrigan styles and meet the owner, Tyra Banks... yes, Tyra Banks.
9 and Up located at 1745 N. Clybourn Chicago, 312.335.1745
After a day of boutique hopping, stop by Rose Angelis Italian restaurant and relax with a great vino from their exceptional wine bar. Great for romantic al fresco dining with your mate.
